This glass granulate for ecological sand filters is to be used instead of sand and gravel. It is made from 100% recycled materials. It saves up to 25% water (less backwash and faster); up to 25% energy (easier pump loads). Its surface prevents bacterial growth in the water filter and reduces the smell of chlorine. Removes up to 30% of the finest particles compared to sand. Longer life span : 8-10 years (zeolite/sand : max. 4-5 years). Bag : 15 kg.
